Dr. Lisa Khakh was born and raised in Nanaimo, BC. She began her post-secondary education at Malaspina University College and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) with a major in Microbiology at the University of British Columbia. She continued at UBC to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) in 2003. Within months of graduation Dr. Lisa Khakh joined the team at PoCo Dental Group where she continues to practise all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Lisa Khakh believes in taking the time to understand her patients and works with them to achieve their treatment goals. She strives for the highest standard of care and is committed to making her patients feel comfortable, cared for, and well educated on their treatment options. Dr. Lisa Khakh continues to further her knowledge by regularly taking current courses in all areas of dentistry. She has been a member the of North Fraser Seminars for Dental Excellence study group for over 7 years. Her study group consists of a team of general dentists and specialists who meet to share knowledge and learn from each other.
Aside from her career Dr. Lisa Khakh enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She believes in living a balanced, healthy life by prioritizing daily fitness and good nutrition. She lives an active lifestyle which includes running, hiking, long walks, pilates and working out at the gym.
